FOR HIRE: CLIENT & PRODUCTION SUPPORT ASSOCIATE

SMPLFD Printing Co. is hiring a Client & Production Support Associate to join its Detroit-based production team.

The Client & Production Support Associate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes. This role involves managing customer inquiries, assisting with procurement and receiving, and providing general production support around the shop.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, customer-focused, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Customer Service:
  • Respond to inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
  • Provide accurate information about our products, services, and pricing.
  • Assist customers with placing orders, answering questions, and resolving issues.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service and communication.
• Procurement and Receiving:
  • Assist in the procurement of materials and supplies needed for production.
  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
  • Maintain organized records of inventory and procurement activities.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Production Support:
  • Assist with various tasks in the production process, including setup, operation, and cleanup.
  • Help maintain a clean and organized production area.
  • Support the production team in meeting deadlines and quality standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support overall production efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Previous experience in customer service, procurement, or production support is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong computer skills, particularly in written communication.
• Detail-oriented and proactive in identifying and solving problems.
• Sales experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift and move materials as needed.
• Must be able to work at our shop in Detroit; no remote work opportunities are currently available.

Pay/Benefits:

• $40,000-$45,000/year depending on experience

JOB TYPE: Salaried, Full-time hours (40 hours per week); shop operating hours 8:30am-5:30pm, Monday-Friday. No current remote work opportunities.
